Currently, Christopher is a Director at Blackhawk Capital Group. Since 2005, BCG has served as the lead underwriter or co-manager for a number of private equity offerings and we target equity deals ranging from $1 million to $25 million. At Blackhawk, Christopher seeks to assist developers and buyers achieve the highest return possible on their investments by providing immediate access to the most competitive sources of real estate that the market has to offer. These include joint ventures, sponsor and preferred equity, and structured and mezzanine debt.
Christopher worked at Studley from 2003 to 2009 as a lead business development liaison and tenant consultant. He focused on representing office users in all aspects of their real estate needs, including financial modeling, space identification and negotiation. The objective was to enable corporations and clients to align their real estate portfolios with their business objectives by minimizing occupancy costs, hedging against future lease related risks, and maximizing operational efficiencies.
Prior to Studley, Chris held the position of finance and business analyst at Lockheed Martin. He has previous experience in the software and mainframe computing businesses at BMC Software (formerly Boole & Babbage), where he was a Microsoft Certified Engineer. This experience gives Chris an in-depth understanding of the operations and specific technical demands of growing technology companies.
Christopher's business acumen allows him to provide real estate solutions that work synergistically with a company's business objectives. His in-depth market knowledge also helps Chris to successfully identify new opportunities and to ensure that his clients are the first-to-market, achieving significant time and cost savings. He is also working on becoming an expert in green real estate solutions thereby one of few LEED Accredited real estate services providers in California.
